Process

How I work.

Five steps from brief to handover. You see the site working on a private link from the first week, and you own every part of it at the end.

01

Brief and quote

We work out what the site has to achieve before anything is designed. I write the scope down, price it, and send it as a fixed quote. If I think you need less than you are asking for, I will say so at this stage.

What you get

  • A written scope, page by page
  • A fixed price and a delivery date
  • A short list of what I need from you

What I need from you

  • What the site must achieve, in your words
  • Your text, images and logo
  • Access to the domain if one already exists
02

Build on a private preview link

You get a private URL from the first week and watch the site come together on it. Nothing is hidden until a big reveal at the end, so course corrections are cheap instead of expensive.

What you get

  • A preview link you can share internally
  • Visible progress, not status reports
  • Early sight of the real thing on your own phone

What I need from you

  • A look every few days
  • Answers to the handful of questions that come up
03

Review and revise

You collect your changes and send them as one set, and I work through the whole round together. A trickle of one-line messages is slower for you and harder for both of us to keep track of.

What you get

  • One consolidated pass through your changes
  • A clear note of anything outside the agreed scope

What I need from you

  • Your changes gathered in one message
  • A decision where two options are genuinely open
04

Launch

The site goes live only after it has been checked against a written pre-delivery list — speed, mobile, forms, links, search settings, backups. You get that list ticked, not a verbal assurance.

What you get

  • The site live on your own hosting and domain
  • The pre-delivery checklist, completed
  • Search Console and analytics connected

What I need from you

  • A go-live date that suits you
  • Any DNS access I do not already have
05

Handover and 30-day cover

Everything is transferred into your name and explained. For the next 30 days anything in scope that breaks is fixed free, without a conversation about who pays.

What you get

  • Every login, in your name
  • A written guide and a video walkthrough
  • 30 days of free fixes

What I need from you

  • Somewhere safe to keep the credentials
  • A message if anything misbehaves

Anything not in the written scope is quoted before it's built. No surprise invoices — in either direction.
